Honolulu, HI – June 20, 2024 Pacific Marine & Supply Company continues its year-long commemoration of its 80th anniversary as this year’s presenting sponsor of Hawaii on the Hill. The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, in partnership with U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono hosted the 8th Annual Hawaii on the Hill in Washington D.C. from June 15-18, 2024. This highly anticipated 4-day event brings Hawaii business leaders and members of the community to the nation's capital to meet with federal officials, tour D.C. and showcase our industries and products with members of congress. Pacific Marine has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii for 69 years.

“Pacific Marine and our subsidiaries have participated in this popular event since its inception,” said Ken Loui, newly-appointed CEO of Pacific Marine & Supply Company. “With subsidiaries that deliver technology, engineering, and specialized industrial trade services at the national level, we are proud to demonstrate to congress the diversity and scale of services that Hawaii’s business community can deliver. This year we will be attending with our two largest subsidiaries, PacMar Technologies, a leader in defense and maritime R&D, and Pacific Shipyards International, Hawaii’s largest full-service shipyard.”

In 2024, Pacific Marine celebrates its 80th anniversary, commemorating eight decades of dedicated service to Hawaii's key economic sectors: defense, maritime transportation, construction, tourism, and technology R&D. Since its founding by Fred and Alyce Loui in 1944, the
company has been a cornerstone of innovation and project excellence across diverse industries and has remained a family-owned and managed enterprise.

In February of this year, Pacific Marine marked the start of their 80th anniversary with an $80,000 donation to Palama Settlement, Hawaii’s historic social services organization, to help build preschools as part of the State’s Ready Keiki Initiative led by Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke. In May 2024, Pacific Marine was the $25,000 presenting sponsor for Lanakila Pacific’s 85th Anniversary celebration, INSPO! supporting their mission to help people with disabilities and seniors lead inspired lives. And more events and sponsorships are planned for the rest of the year.
"For us, this year is all about giving back to the community," said Steven Loui, Chairman of Pacific Marine & Supply Company. "As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on our journey with immense pride, knowing that our family of companies continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of our highly qualified managers and talented employees and the support of our customers, vendors and the Hawaii Community."
